This is an area of outstanding natural beauty, an exclusive location with peace and tranquility for either a holiday home or a permanent residence.  As an investment, villas in this part of Zakynthos  command high rentals on the holiday villa rental market.

There are  facilities for many activities, including walking and cycling, fishing trips with one of the local fishermen from Agios Nikolaos, or fishing off the rocks in one of the many small bays and inlets along the coast. The Pelagoni club provides facilities for a wide range of water sports.
