The house is located on the edge of the village.  Shops and facilities in the centre  are within easy walking distance of the house. Numerous beaches are only some twenty minutes away. The nearest town is Aliveri where there are supermarkets and a full range of shopping facilites, banks and services.

EVIA

Evia  is close to the mainland from where there are a number or regular ferry services to the island.  Most of them are of less then an hours duration. There is also a road bridge connecting to the mainland at Halkidi.  Evia is blessed by not having an airport but is only an hours drive from Athens airport. It is an island of small villages both on the coast and in the mountains.

Unlike so many islands, it has not suffered from the ravages of  package tourism. Holidaymakers can enjoy the many natural beauties of the island including the many uncrowded bays and beaches.
