THE GARDENS

The gardens of 1,000 sm. include a driveway from the double gated entrance, to the house.  Half way along the drive is a shady car port. The spacious gardens are overlooked by the patio / terrace to the front of the house. Mature trees include lemons, olives and vines with a well as a feature.

The house is some 100 m. from the shore. To the right this is pebbly whilst to the left it forms a sandy bay.  This curves round to the nearby luxury Amaronda beach resort.

EVIA

Evia  is close to the mainland, to which it is connected by a road bridge at Halkida.  There are a number of  regular ferry services to Evia. The nearest of these  is the 15 minute crossing from Oropo to the small port of Eretria.

The waterfront at Eetria is lined with cafes and fish tavernas and is only a few minutes drive to the house at Malakonda. The drive from Athens International Airport to Oropos is 113 kms by fast toll road.

Evia is an island of attractive coastal and mountain villages, with stunning scenery. Many of its bays and beaches remain largely undiscovered. The north of the island is heavily wooded and the mountains can be snow capped in winter.
