Andros is the second largest island in the Cyclades and lies just to the south of Evia. Katakilos is a village on Andros whih is split into two parts, Upper Katakilos and Lower Katakilos. The village is 5 kms from the port of Batsi, where there are supermakets and other shopping facilities and 6 kms from Ateni Beach. There are also tavernas in the village. There are regular ferry services from Rafina to Andros and the journey takes 2 hours. Rafina is a 20 minute drive from Athens airport.
