It has a square with a popular market every Sunday. A mini market and a doctors surgery are held in the village twice a week.</p>
<p>Nearby Meligalas has a supermarket and a range of shopping facilities, as well as a medical centre, dentists, banks, cafes and a hair dresser</p>
<p>20 minutes to the west are the magnificent sandy beaches of Kalo Nero, which stretch into the distance. The house, which is on the edge of the village, is 1 km from the Athens &#8211; Kalamata motorway. This now reduces travelling time from Athens to just over two hours.</p>

<p>The airport receives direct flights from most European countries from April to October.  Scheduled domestic flights from Athens, operate throughout the year. The flight time from Athens is 45 minutes.</p>
