DISTOMO
Distomo is an attractive village,  part of the Viotia region, surrounded by wOoded mountains and with many attractions drawing tourists throught the year. The climate makes it a prime all year round tourist destination with winter skiing on Mount Parnassos and swimming and fishing in the summer. It is only 30 minutes fromDistomo to the ski slopes to the north and 15 minutes to the Gulf of Corinth, where there are picturesque fishing villages with excellent sea food tavernas and good swimming beaches. It is perfectly possible on many days even in January to ski in the mountains in the morning and sunbathe on a beach in the afternoon.

Distomo also has its own attractions with wine and theatre festivals in the summer but its main attraction still remains that, without in any way being isolated, it offers a haven of peace and quiet whilst at the same time, the main tourist villages of Leivadia and Arachova and the natural attractions and acrivities in which the region abounds, are all within easy reach.

The ancient ruins at Delphi which is only 30 minutes from Distomo, are second only in visitor numbers to the Acropolis of Athens. 

Distomo is easily accessible from Athens with good road connections and a regular train service to Leivadia the capital town of Viotia region.

PARNASSOS SKI CENTRE
Parnasso ski centre provides 26 ski runs plus connecting trails and slopes for beginners amounting in all to some 36kms.

ARACHOVA
Arachovo is a beautiful and busy mountain village with houses seeming to cling precariously to the plunging cliffs above and below the main street. It provides a full range of shopping facilities both for the the resident and for the tourist and has good restarants, tavernas and cafes.

LEIVADIA
Leivadia, the capital town of Viotia is one of the most picturesque of all the mountain villages with waterfalls cascading down the gorge which divides the main street and interspersed with reflective pools of  peace.  The two tree lined halves of the cobbled street are linked by ancient wooden foot bridges. Viotia is an unspoilt region of mountains, green forests, traditional villages and the ski slopesof Parnassos. Leivadia is very accessibe both by road, being  140 kms from Athens airport, and by train.

Viotia is home to some of the most famous sites of ancient Greece, including Thebes and Delphi, the second most visited archaeological site of Greece's classical heritage.
